Extra Innings offers indoor comprehensive clinics throughout the year for players ages 7-17. These clinics emphasize fundamental improvement for players to enhance their skills and to gain a competitive advantage.
Participation is limited to assure quality instruction.
Summer Baseball Pitching Clinic
This week-long clinic focuses on the FUNdamentals of baseball pitching/throwing. Players are separated into age groups and rotated through skill stations taught by our professional instructors. Emphasis is placed on learning the proper mechanics in order to “throw strikes”. In addition to skills and drills, the clinic also features daily supervised game play. The clinic is held at Extra Innings. Space is limited, please register early.

Summer Outdoor/Indoor Baseball Clinic
This week-long outdoor/indoor clinic focuses on the FUNdamentals of baseball including hitting, fielding, pitching, throwing and base-running. Players are separated into age groups and rotated through skill stations taught by our professional instructors in their individual areas of expertise. In addition to skills and drills, the clinic also features daily supervised game play. The clinic is held at Extra Innings and the Northern HS baseball fields. Space is limited, please register early.

Fall Softball Hitting Development Clinic
This four session progressive class focuses on the FUNdamentals and mechanics of hitting. Jill Calloway and her instructors will cover both physical and mental aspects of hitting to get you in the proper mindset for the upcoming Fall softball season! This is a great opportunity to improve and develop your hitting skills to get an edge on the competition and take your game to the next level. This clinic will fill up fast so signup today. Speed, Agility and Power Clinic I (Baseball & Softball Players)
Extra Innings in Upper Marlboro is adding to its Fall schedule the “missing link” to improving your game. We will be offering the “S-A-P I” (Speed, Agility and Power) sessions to develop acceleration, foot speed and anaerobic energy systems at a fraction of the cost of a personal trainer for the same hours. When you combine speed, agility and power with proper batting, fielding and pitching mechanics you have a quicker, more powerful and more productive baseball/softball player. Class will be conducted by a certified ACE Personal Trainer and former SWAC Baseball Player of the Year Mike Maroto. Space is Limited to 17 so act fast! Participants will also receive a custom printed ¾ sleeve baseball shirt! This was one of last year’s most popular clinics!.
